The 2026 Jeep Gladiator Sport S expands on the base Sport model by adding more comfort, technology, and convenience while maintaining the rugged capability the Gladiator is known for. Powered by the familiar 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine making 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, it comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard Command-Trac part-time 4WD.
The Sport S offers strong utility with up to 7,700 pounds of towing capacity and a maximum payload of 1,720 pounds, making it a practical option for both work and adventure. Inside, it features a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus upgrades like power windows, power locks, and a comfortable black interior. Exterior options include a black 3-piece hard top, fog lamps, and available LED lighting, allowing buyers to add style and versatility.
For 2026, the Gladiator Sport S receives several meaningful updates that modernize the truck while expanding its customization potential. The larger 12.3-inch infotainment display is now standard across the lineup, offering better connectivity and cleaner graphics.
A factory-available winch package has been introduced, giving owners more capability straight from the showroom. Jeep is also bringing new special editions to the Gladiator lineup for 2026, including the "Convoy" concept-inspired model, which may introduce fresh styling cues and unique features. The 3.6L V6 remains the sole engine choice for 2026, and the manual transmission has been fully discontinued, making the 8-speed automatic standard on all Sport S models.
